Nutrient mixing calculator
Scale a label rate to the working volume of your reservoir.
Use the result as a starting point.
Enter measured values, check the units, and keep the assumptions beside the answer. This tool supports a growing decision; it does not replace a calibrated meter, a product label, or observation of the crop.
Safe practice: Use the product label, mix each concentrate separately, and measure EC after circulation.
This scales the label rate; it does not choose the rate for your crop.
How to use this tool
Use this tool to scale a product label rate to the liquid volume you are actually mixing. It does not choose a safe rate for a crop.
- Enter reservoir volume in liters and the label dosage in mL per liter.
- Enter the values, check the units, and select Calculate.
- Read the result as a planning estimate, then compare it with the crop and system.
Formula or reference method
Total concentrate = reservoir liters x label rate in mL/L.
Worked example
For 15 L at 5 mL/L, add 15 x 5 = 75.0 mL total concentrate.
Understanding the result
Treat the result as the measured amount for the stated label rate, then verify EC after circulation.
Assumptions and limits
Product formulas differ. Follow the label, mix each part into water separately, and never combine raw concentrates.
Common mistakes
Do not use gallons in a liters field or multiply the rate by the container label capacity instead of working volume.
